Building a Green Future with NRG Building Solutions

NRG Building Solutions is a sales team with the vision of a healthy and clean environment in the future. We believe this is possible through sharing knowledge of evironmental awarness, and by providing consumers with products that will make their home, garage, office, warehouse, etc., a more sustainable and a healthier living/working environment. We also wanted something that was going to be competetive with tradtional stick framed homes in terms of price. After doing some research on green building materials, there was one system that stood out above all else.

The Structural Insulated Panels or SIPs produced by Energy Panel Systems (EPS) of Tucson, AZ was exactly what we were looking for. Structual Insulated Panels are a revolutionary new building method that is environmentally friendly, both globally and locally. Energy Panel Systems combines galvanized steel framing with expanded polystyrene foam to provide any structure with a substantially higher level of structural strength and insulation than traditional framing methods. The panels are also incredibly lightweight and easy to install. And the most important feature about the SIPs is that they minimize the use of wood for construction, and lets face it, trees are a precious resource we can’t live without. Literally.

Since the introduction of global warming and the green house effect, there have been many technological developments to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from cars, boats, etc. Now, with the introduction of the SIP system, major efforts are being implimented to reduce the amount of CO2 emissions from your home. This is accomplished by using less wood in your home, because wood, as it deteriorates over time, produces carbon dioxide emissions. This factor, and including other factors including mold and mildew, is one of the main reasons that most indoor air environments are 2-4 times more polluted than the outdoor air.

However, when you build with EPS’ steel and foam SIP system, you can be assured that the indoor air quality of your home or working environment will be far supieror to that of traditional stick built buildings. This is possible because of the incredible benefits that come with building with SIPs. For instance, when you build with NRG Building Solutions, you can be confident that your home is going to be 95% air tight, meaning that you are going to get less dust/pollution from any outside sources. This provides for a much, much healthier indoor environment for you, and everyone that enters your home/office. That means you are going to be sick less, have reduced asthma symptoms, and other health benefits that everyone can enjoy.

This product is truely going to revolutionize the residential and commerical construction industry. Not only through healthier living environments, but also countless other benefits that I will be discussing at a later date. Its time to change our views on how we build homes and other buildings. Its time to become more environmentally concious and start building a greener future for the generations to come…

“Go Green!“

That phrase has been heavily imprinted on people’s minds since the dawn of the new millenium. Its seems like ever since global warming was brought to the public’s attention, everyone is doing their part to make sure we can stay on this wonderful planet a little longer. Today, new and innovated technologies are being developed and implimented into daily use. Some of these developments include solar panels, hybrid vehicles, energy from wind, etc.

All of these technologies are huge leaps towards having an eco-friendly society, however, we were trying to find something that hit a little closer to home. In fact, we wanted to find ways to make home building and construction of buildings to be able to Go Green. So a few of us sat down and did some research on how we could make construction of homes more energy efficient, while at the same time using less natural resources. Thus, NRG Building Solutions was created in order to educate the public about the benefits of green building.

So at this point you may be asking yourself, “ok, so what is green building?”

Well, I’ll tell you. Green Building is defined as using recyclable materials to create an energy efficient, sustainable building that has low impact on the environment. This is accomplished by using material such as steel instead of wood, and solar panels for energy.

After the creation of NRG Building Solutions, we came across a framing system called Structural Insulated Panelized Systems or SIPS being produced by a company out of Phoenix, Arizona and manufactured in Tucson, Arizona. I’ll be talking in much more detail about the SIPS later in this blog. However, our gut reaction once we saw this product was, “Wow, this product is going to revolutionize the housing industry.” And it was exactly what we were looking for.

We set out to start spreading the word about SIPS and the new green building techniques we had discovered, and everyone we have said something to about this product has had the same reaction we had. Jaw-Dropping. We received comments like, “Why haven’t we heard about this before?” and “This is incredible stuff,” over and over again.

I encourage you, if you think that going green is the wave of the future (which it is) and would like more information about how to make your home green, then feel free to subscribe to this blog. I will be bringing you more information on the incredible SIP system and even simple-to-do tips that can help your home to be more energy efficient.
